Sort³
Imagine logistics where bulk becomes order in an instant. We’ve integrated 3D bulk picking with order sorting and consolidation into a single architecture orchestrated by Saiet Engineering, capable of turning inbound flows into shipment-ready orders without interruption—from item pick to container close. The platform combines perception, gripping, and intelligent routing to ensure continuous operations, full traceability, and shorter cycle times. It’s modular and scalable, plugs into existing systems, and delivers tangible gains in productivity, quality, and cost. In short: more speed, less complexity, accelerated ROI.
SAIET ENGINEERING: Robotic Order Consolidation for E-commerce
A success story in automating e-commerce order consolidation through advanced robotic solutions. Discover how SAIET Engineering streamlines logistics for apparel, products, boxes, accessories, totes, and mixed items—improving efficiency and accuracy.

The Challenges of Modern E-commerce
E-commerce and omnichannel logistics are under unprecedented pressure. Traditional warehouses struggle to keep up with:
- Rapidly growing order volumes and ever-shorter fulfillment windows
- Managing thousands of SKUs with variants, sizes, colors, and packaging constraints
- Seasonal or campaign peaks that strain operations and staffing Without a new approach to automation, companies risk losing competitiveness in a market where speed, accuracy, and scalability are decisive.
The SAIET Engineering Case
Our mission: revolutionize order consolidation without overhauling the existing infrastructure—boosting performance by automating the order consolidation layer itself.
Integrated Robotic Solution Collaborative robots work alongside people, orchestrating flows and relieving repetitive handling tasks.
Intelligent Automation Automated picking and consolidation adapt in real time to priorities, stock location, and service targets.
Seamless Integration A plug-in system that connects to existing WMS/ERP/MES, enabling a gradual roll-out with no operational downtime.
The modular approach provides a tailored solution for current needs and allows plug-and-play expansions as volumes or assortments grow.
How the Solution Works
3D and 2D layout of the robotic system in action
01
Order Induction Items enter via a manual induction step: the product/barcode is scanned using a handheld terminal. The sorting plan directs the robots to allocate items into high-density shelving or totes, optimizing space.
02
Automated Transfer Once orders are registered, the robots move the items to their respective destinations until the order is complete.
03
Order Consolidation Items are automatically grouped by order inside chutes or at dedicated stations. A light-guided system alerts the operator when the order is complete for pick and confirmation.
04
Packing & Shipping Operators finalize packing through an assisted workflow that reduces errors and accelerates shipping.
The system is fully scalable and can be expanded with additional modules to handle peaks and new product families.

Key Elements of the Robotic System
